3ABN Trip Girls Chorus Fundraisers

The Girls Chorus has been invited to record in southern Illinois at the 3-ABN studios. Their music will then air on the CHILDREN’S PRAISE show that is shown weekly around the world. This is a great mission opportunity for our church and our school to share Jesus through music.

The girls have been doing several fundraisers to raise the $$ needed to pay the airfare for 11 girls and adult chaperones for this mission trip. The first fundraiser was selling mandarin oranges. Thank you to Debbie Irwin who organized that fundraiser. We made over $700.00 from that effort. Thank you, also, to those who purchased the mandarins. We couldn’t have done it without you.

The second fundraiser was a Spaghetti hot lunch. This was headed by Debbie Irwin and Kristi Bradley-Robbins. The whole school benefited by partaking of the delicious spaghetti, carrots and garlic bread. They have another lunch scheduled later this month.

The third fundraiser was the Date Night Out which occurred last Saturday night. Thank you to Dave & Ginger Jewett for being in charge of that. Many parents enjoyed an evening out while the Jewetts and the members of the girls chorus watched the kids and organized games in the gymnasium.

The fourth fundraiser that is occurring right now is the fundraising letters that are going out to school and church families as well as to friends and family of the girl’s chorus. Thank you to Cindy Innocent for heading up this effort, and thank you to Grace Parker for supplying the flyers that are going in each letter. To all of you who might receive a letter, please prayerfully consider contributing to this mission effort. Your donation would be tax-deductible and made payable to the Orangevale SDA School.
